I applied for this role, which was first posted as only needing English. However, in the first HR call, I was told they actually needed a Norwegian speaker and the job description wasn't finalized. I get that needs can shift, but it would be better if this was clear before interviews start. They said they'd look into it, but I heard nothing for about six weeks, then got an automatic rejection. Better matching job ads with needs and faster communication would really help candidates, especially when we take time off work for interviews. Bad experience overall.

They initially mentioned it was a manager role, but on the interview day, it turned out to be for an engineer. The interview had 3 rounds and lasted over 3 hours. The first round covered my experience and some technical questions. The second round was a CAD test where I was given a 3D CAD file on one screen and asked to create a CAD model and drawing on another. The model was complex, and the time wasn't sufficient to measure dimensions and build the geometry. During this CAD test, another interviewer joined and asked many hypothetical questions unrelated to the position. After about an hour, the CAD interviewer returned, checked the model's completion, and questioned why I couldn't finish it, despite knowing that the other interviewer had been asking me questions for that hour. It was the worst unprofessional interview I've experienced.

Applied via LinkedIn in mid-December. Got an email after the holidays to set up the first interview. First interview was 1 hour with the hiring manager. The second interview was a 1-hour panel with the director and brand manager. The final interview was 1 hour with the executive director. Each interview was scheduled about a week apart. I was expecting an offer after the final interview because I got really positive feedback, but the recruiter ghosted me. I followed up twice and got no response, which I think is unprofessional. It's been two weeks and I still haven't heard anything. Really disappointing.

The assessment consisted of a written test. This test had multiple-choice questions about technical knowledge and aptitude. For each correct answer, you got 1 mark. For wrong answers, you were penalized 0.25 marks. After that, there were two coding questions and two SQL queries where you had to write the whole code. If you passed that, there was a technical round and then an HR round.
