First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TE Connectivity.
Engineer
The interview process was a bit of a mess. They work on sensors, but honestly, nothing about it made sense. It felt like a very lethargic organization with no sense of time, and they were highly irresponsible. If you're going to take their aptitude test, you should probably start practicing meditation beforehand.

Product Engineer
First, there was a phone screen with the hiring manager. Then, there were about 3 or 4 one-hour interviews. These included the hiring manager, two engineering staff members, and one person from HR. The interviews covered a range of topics, from very specific technical engineering questions like DFME and problem-solving, to behavioral questions about keeping projects on track, handling conflict, and discussing your proudest project. They were really good interviews.
- What things at work tend to discourage you?
- What are your main motivators at work?
- What kinds of projects motivate you?
