Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TE Connectivity.
Procurement Specialist
They started with a general introduction and discussion about my background. Then, I had an interview with a department manager. This manager was late and didn't apologize, which was a bit awkward. The interview itself wasn't overly challenging, provided you have a solid understanding of the whole purchasing process.
- Can you explain the entire purchasing process?
Supply Chain Intern
This 10-week internship program is about optimizing inventory and setting ERP types. The interview process involved a 1:1 chat with global HR. They asked more questions than I anticipated, and I was quite pleased with it. I should have discussed the products and industries more, but I missed that opportunity.
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Supply Chain Analyst
The hiring manager first reached out and invited me for a one-on-one meeting. About two weeks after, I was asked to come back and interview with a group of 3 or 4 other people. The interview was pretty standard. No hard or surprising questions. The interviewer seemed to ask questions off the cuff rather than from a prepared list. I'd say his approach was quite relaxed compared to maybe a more formal TE employee.
- Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
