First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Superside.
Customer Success Manager
So I interviewed at Superside between Dec 2025 and Feb 2026. It started with a recruiter call, then there was a test assessment which I found a bit weird, followed by a chat with the hiring manager. The final stage was a case study presentation to a panel. After that, they went silent for two weeks longer than they said they would. Then they told me hiring was on hold because of a sudden restructuring, which is understandable. But asking for such an intense 3-part case study that requires researching three companies, their goals, recent news, and strategies, when people have other jobs, felt unreasonable. A month and a half later, they said they're moving this role's hiring outside the US. It kind of feels like they might be trying to get free ideas.
- What draws you to Superside?
Digital Content Producer
It was pretty standard for a creative job, going through several steps. First, I chatted with a Talent Partner, then met with the hiring manager and director. Each part gave me a good idea of how the team works together. A big part was a take-home creative task where I had to make a pitch deck to show my strategic thinking, storytelling, and how I get things done. They also had me do some cognitive and creative tests to see how I solve problems, communicate, and if I fit into their fast, remote work style. It felt like a solid process that really shows what the job needs, especially about owning creative projects, thinking clearly, and being able to work on my own.
- Can you walk us through your previous work experience?
Senior Designer
I applied and a recruiter got in touch for a brief chat to go over the job details and see if it was a mutual fit. After that, I was sent a practical assignment due in 48 hours. It felt a bit extensive and time-consuming for a test, but I get that it's a competitive position and they use it to get a good handle on what each applicant can do. As a side note, they maybe could've paid for it, given it's becoming a market norm. Once the test was in, things slowed down a bit. I eventually got the green light and proceeded to two more interviews. Following those, there was a significant lull — it took them weeks to respond, which I figure was due to them interviewing a lot of people. Eventually, I got an offer over a quick 15-minute call, and then the contract and reference checks came through right after.
- Can you walk me through your approach to the case assessment?
- What's the reason for your departure from your previous role?
- What AI tools are part of your toolkit?
Creative Operations Head
The interview process was great. Everyone I talked to was nice, open, and really wanted me to know about the job and the company culture. I felt totally in the loop and confident before getting the offer. The tests were hard but in a good way. They really showed the quality and skills Superside is looking for, which helped me see what the environment would be like. All in all, it was one of the most organized and well-thought-out interviews I've had.
