Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

So I interviewed at Superside between Dec 2025 and Feb 2026. It started with a recruiter call, then there was a test assessment which I found a bit weird, followed by a chat with the hiring manager. The final stage was a case study presentation to a panel. After that, they went silent for two weeks longer than they said they would. Then they told me hiring was on hold because of a sudden restructuring, which is understandable. But asking for such an intense 3-part case study that requires researching three companies, their goals, recent news, and strategies, when people have other jobs, felt unreasonable. A month and a half later, they said they're moving this role's hiring outside the US. It kind of feels like they might be trying to get free ideas.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process at Superside was pretty structured and I enjoyed it. I had three interviews in total. First was a call to see if we were a good fit. Then, we had some more detailed talks about my skills for the job and if I fit the company culture. I also had to do one assessment, which we then talked about in a panel session. It was a good way for everyone to see if we were aligned on everything and what I could bring to the table.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

Be aware, if you're outside the US timezone! The process began well with a recruiter who communicated quickly and a simple screening interview. I finished both a logical/IQ test and a personality assessment, then had an interview with the hiring manager. The manager didn't impress me much and didn't follow up on questions like they said they would. After that, I got invited to a final, detailed case study interview where I had to prepare a lot, including making a presentation for a panel. Then, just a few hours before the interview, I found out they weren't going to hire anyone outside the US timezone and my interview was canceled. This was never brought up as a problem at any point, even though they knew where I was from. So, I put in a lot of time and effort just to be rejected last minute for something that should have been discussed from the beginning. If you're applying from outside the US timezone, just know they might not really consider you, no matter how far you get. It seemed like there wasn't good communication inside the company and they didn't respect my time. I tried to give this feedback to leadership but got no reply, so I'm sharing it here.
