First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Superside.
Creative Project Manager
Reached out on LinkedIn. First meeting was with HR, who clearly explained the role, interview process, and salary. The assessment details were clear and we agreed on deadlines. The second meeting involved a role play, which was a good way to show the processes and experience discussed earlier. The last meeting was a great chance to learn about Superside's values and chat about non-work topics, which shows they care about people and a good work environment.
- What activities do you enjoy outside of work?
- Can you describe a past mistake and how you resolved it?
Creative Project Manager
So my interview process involved 4 different interviews. First up was a screening interview with the People Talent Lead, where I learned more about Superside and shared my background. After that, I had to complete some assessments: a psychometric one and a practical simulation. The next step was the CPM Panel Interview. Here, I presented the simulation I did and answered questions about managing clients and creative teams, giving examples of situations I'd dealt with. The final interview was with Senior Leadership, specifically one of the CPM directors. We talked about my experience, and I answered practical, situational, and some personal questions. That's when I got the offer.
- How do you deal with disagreements with clients or internal creative teams?
- Tell me about a significant mistake you made in your career and how you recovered from it.
- In your opinion, what are the essential principles for a Creative Project Manager?
Project Manager
I've worked for top advertising agencies and managed marketing campaigns for Fortune 500 companies, leading international creative teams, but somehow I don't meet Superside's requirements for the CPM position. The initial HR interview is usually fine, but after practical tests and the second interviews, they reject my profile. The first time, they said it was because of my English, even though I had international experience. Last time, they didn't give any reason. It's a weird and subjective hiring process. Based on reviews, I think I dodged a bullet.
- Tell me about your background and experience.
- What was your best working experience?
- What was your worst working experience?
