I got an interview pretty fast after applying on LinkedIn. I picked a time using their online scheduler after they emailed me. The person I talked to was nice and easy to talk to, and it felt pretty casual but still professional. They asked for some examples of my work and wanted to know about my career journey. Later that day, they said I could move on to the next part, which was a skills test. I had to make two presentations in 48 hours. It was a really tight deadline, so it felt pretty tough, and I don't think I did my best work. A few days later, I heard back that I didn't get the job, but they gave me some good feedback on why.

I applied and a recruiter got in touch for a brief chat to go over the job details and see if it was a mutual fit. After that, I was sent a practical assignment due in 48 hours. It felt a bit extensive and time-consuming for a test, but I get that it's a competitive position and they use it to get a good handle on what each applicant can do. As a side note, they maybe could've paid for it, given it's becoming a market norm. Once the test was in, things slowed down a bit. I eventually got the green light and proceeded to two more interviews. Following those, there was a significant lull — it took them weeks to respond, which I figure was due to them interviewing a lot of people. Eventually, I got an offer over a quick 15-minute call, and then the contract and reference checks came through right after.

We'll kick things off with a quick 30-minute chat with our Talent Partner so you can get to know Superside and we can learn about you. No need to prep for this one! Then, you'll get a business case to tackle, along with some ability tests designed to see if you've got the skills for the job. The first interview is a 1-hour session with the Director of People Experience, where you'll present your work and we'll chat more about your background. We always leave time for your questions, so come prepared! We want to make sure this is the right move for both of us. Finally, a 30-minute chat with our VP of Talent will wrap things up. If we get to the offer stage, you know we're impressed, and we'll just want to make sure you're just as excited to join us!
