The hiring process involved 5 steps: a chat with the recruiter, a meeting with the Creative Director, an assessment, a session with the Creative Lead, and finally an interview with the VP. The recruiter was super helpful, making sure I knew what was happening at each stage. What really made this process stand out was how genuinely kind and human everyone was. It felt less like a typical interview and more like a genuine conversation about my career, design in general, the industry, and the future of AI, which I found really cool. The assessment was challenging but fair; it really tested my thinking and design decisions, checking if I could follow instructions, grasp the brief, and use critical thinking to get things done. Overall, it was a really good experience.

It took them about a month to get back to me, and since it's been two months and I haven't heard back, I'm giving a neutral review. The first interview was mainly for the Talent Partner to discuss the company and their working methods. They asked me some general questions and went over a project from my portfolio. I mentioned my illustration skills. They let me know I advanced to the next stage, the assessment project, within a day. Scheduling it took about a week. Surprisingly, I was given two days to complete two assessment projects: one for a hypothetical brand identity and an illustration project. After submitting my work, the Talent Partner confirmed I was moving forward and mentioned it could take a few weeks for a final decision. It's now been two months with no response, despite two follow-up emails. I also noticed they're hiring for the same role again.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

A recruiter reached out on LinkedIn for a graphic designer role. I had an initial 30-min chat with someone from talent acquisition. It took them a week to respond, saying I'd moved on, and they'd send an assessment that day, but didn't. Later, another recruiter rescheduled the assessment. Then, a few days later, they contacted me again, saying they thought I'd be a better fit for a different role. So, I started a new process for that. I had another 30-min recruiter interview and got an assessment due in 24 hours. I sent it back on time but didn't hear anything for a week. I reached the final stage: a 30-min interview with the team manager. During this time, they asked about my salary expectations and years of experience. When I got the offer, it was unexpectedly low and poorly explained. I told the recruiter it was way below my expectations, and they didn't reply or show up to the offer discussion meeting they had scheduled. That was it.
