Behavioral Group Case

I went through the selection process for the Stone Recruiter in 2025. After passing the 'stories' phase, where I shared experiences showing my soft skills, I got to the group interview, which was the second to last step. This part lasted 3 hours and was really frustrating. We were in a virtual room with five other candidates and got a case study to solve together. Everyone tried to engage, but it got weird when the company person started asking things like: “If you were in charge, who on the team would you fire?”. That kind of question felt counterproductive, creating a negative and competitive vibe that doesn’t help in fairly assessing collaboration and leadership skills. They promised feedback at the end, but it was collective and generic, with four candidates at once. The person mentioned things to 'improve,' like assertiveness, but without any specific examples or referring to individual actions. So, I didn't really understand what was wrong with my performance. It felt disrespectful to leave such an advanced stage without at least some individualized or constructive feedback. The lack of care and empathy, especially in a program for young talents, is honestly not what I expected from a company aiming to develop leaders.

It was a long process with 6 stages which built up expectations. You get to meet everyone, and go through 5 different interviews. There's a rotation to learn and understand the job, but then they just discard you. The company has obvious gender discrimination, mostly men! The interview process is repetitive because 5 different people assess you.

Behavioral Technical System Design

I got to the opportunity through a third-party company. One of the most disappointing interviews I've participated in. 3 people in a Google Meet room with only 1 of them questioning you and the others just staring blankly the whole time. Questions that follow a script that isn't complex to answer, but you can tell the interviewer is making up questions based on your answers to make the interview even more difficult. To this day, I still haven't gotten a response from Stone. The third-party company only replied with a 'I'm sorry' for not having any feedback and that when they received it, they would get back to me (never). It's worth highlighting another point: Interviewers with zero soft skills in communication, and these were Managers! No empathy, and always in a hurry. There were moments when the interviewer even got nervous during the System Design stage. Terrible experience! Luckily I won't be working with any of them day-to-day!

Behavioral Case Presentation

A experiência que tive no processo seletivo foi muito boa. A Letícia foi organizada e sempre se comunicou de forma clara e transparente. Ela também foi simpática, humana e profissional, o que me deu segurança e me fez sentir acolhido em todas as etapas. O apoio constante e as orientações ajudaram a tornar todo o processo leve e bem estruturado. As etapas foram divididas em 4 partes: Recrutador, Gestores, Case e Head da área.
