Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Stone.
Commercial Consultant
The process was long and tiring. Recruiters lacked empathy. After a group dynamic and being selected, I had an interview with a manager where I had to present 2 cases as instructed. Even after passing that, I had another interview with someone who wouldn't even look at me and asked the same questions as the manager, plus more about company culture. I wasn't approved. I still don't understand the feedback, and I don't want to try again.
- What makes you a candidate to be hired by Stone?
Commercial Consultant
I applied for the job, then did some behavioral tests on Gupy. After that, there was a group dynamic session that lasted about 2 hours. Then, I had an interview with the team manager for about 1 hour. Next, I did a 'route test' with a team member, which involved visiting clients to see if I was a good fit for the work. Finally, I had an interview with the regional manager, which also lasted about 1 hour.
- What could the person accompanying you on the route have done better during client interactions?
- Thinking about the colleague who did the route with you, what improvements could they have made in their customer service approach?
Commercial Consultant
The selection process is divided into 3 stages, all of which are very transparent. The first stage is with HR, more for alignment, cultural fit, those things. The second stage is with the area leader, where it is more specific about the functions to be developed and the consultant's activities in general. In the meantime, you work for one period with some consultant to see how the work is done in the field and what the routine is like. After that, you talk to the regional leader about the fieldwork, the routine, and they ask you what improvements you bring to this process (they have a culture of always adding people better than them to the team), so they really extract the best from each candidate, whether good or bad. All processes are very agile and transparent; overall, the process takes about 15-20 days on average.
- How do you envision your future in the next 5 years?
- What aspects of this role particularly caught your attention?
- In what ways can you enhance the efficiency of your daily tasks?
