Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Stone.

The interview was quite lengthy, which could be a double-edged sword: it might be tiring, but it also allows you to shine and show your potential. Some questions were very obvious, like asking if I could come to the headquarters, which seemed unnecessary as few would say no. However, there were also many technical questions that caught me by surprise, as at times it felt like I was interviewing for a permanent position, not an apprenticeship. Overall, it was a challenging experience that requires preparation. I recommend reviewing both basic and technical aspects because they really delve deep into some areas.
- Tell me about a time at work when you felt most proud of an accomplishment.
Intern
The selection process lasted for months and ended with a totally amateur interview conducted via WhatsApp. I don't understand, I was indirectly called lazy and "unwilling" for being honest about wanting the internship to count hours for the university system instead of saying I want to work at the company. The company's recruitment interviews via WhatsApp and the one who is "unwilling" is the candidate?
- What were your reasons for choosing this position?
Jovem Aprendiz
The first stage was an online interview with an analyst and a young apprentice from two different HR teams. It involved self-introduction and random questions about my chosen course, past experiences, etc. The interview felt very informal, with the interviewers trying to keep a light and comfortable atmosphere. The second stage was an online interview with the Head and an Analyst from one of the teams I matched best with. It included self-introduction and various questions about my resume. The Head explained the team's routine and demands. Although it was initially stated as an HR role, it was clarified at the end that they were looking for a young person with an inclination towards exact sciences and data analysis. I made it clear I was there to learn and step out of my comfort zone, but I sensed during the call they were looking for someone with different qualities. The Head emphasized wanting someone who truly had a knack for data analysis and numbers.
- Did I leave any legacy in my last experience?
