Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Stone.
Auxiliar De Logística
This company expects too much from candidates, I wonder what kind of person they approve. They ask unnecessary and nonsensical questions to get to know you better. It's a negative experience. I've had at least 4 interviews with the company for at least 3 different roles over time. Even after gaining more experience and maturity, they show enthusiasm and then send a negative feedback email. Sometimes it seems like they open these positions due to high turnover and select as many people as possible to promote the brand.
- Tell me about your childhood.
- Tell me about your family.
- What are 5 of your positive characteristics?
Logistics Intern
The process was pretty fast, I had an interview at the company and then was asked to do some tests on their online platform.
- What makes you better than everyone else in this room?
Logistics Analyst
It was super fast, just a week! First, there were online tests from Mindsight. Then, a group activity with me and two other candidates for the role. Everyone got to speak, and the recruiter managed it perfectly, giving all the details about the job like salary, hours, duties, and benefits – very transparent! After that, I had an interview with the team lead, which was a chat about my career path, decisions, and professional goals. She was really chill and honest about the job and what they expect. It was a straightforward conversation, no tricks. Then, an interview with the area lead plus a culture check. This was similar to the previous one but focused more on who I am as a person, to see if the candidate and company are a good fit. The lead was relaxed, respectful, listened well, and was really honest about company info and expectations. Overall, the process was great. I got feedback on the job almost the same day I had the interviews. Everyone treated me with respect, care, transparency, and speed. They really gave the impression they wanted people who would add value to the team.
- Tell me about yourself.
- What were you like as a child?
- Can you tell me about the choices you've made in your career?
