Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Stone.
Business Analyst
After being approached, there were 3 interviews: HR interview, technical interview with management, and a cultural fit interview with the area manager. The process was very smooth, quick, and transparent from the start.
- What are your expectations for working in this field?
Analista
I spent an hour explaining my 4 years of experience at the 5 largest financial companies in the country to the interviewer. Three days later, I received feedback that they decided to proceed with a professional who had experience in the financial market. Finally, after two weeks, I found out they hired someone with no experience in the area, meaning I wasted an hour for them to auction the position to someone who accepted to work for half the pay, according to GlassDoor. In future processes, it would be more humane to state how much you can pay, so people don't waste their time.
- Tell me about your experience.
Analista
First, there were online logical reasoning tests, and I got a positive response via email. After that, HR scheduled an interview with the area manager and HR together. On the day of the interview, HR didn't show up, but the CFO and the area manager were in the room. The CFO was extremely arrogant and rude, acting superior to me the whole time with a snobbish attitude. The questions were nonsensical and very personal, making it seem like the manager was testing me the entire time. There was no company presentation, nor any mention of salary and benefits. It was an hour of questions, from when I was born until the present day, which was extremely tiring. After about 30 minutes of conversation, I lost all interest in working for this company.
- If you had to choose a company to work for without getting paid, which one would you pick?
