Overall a good experience, but it seemed like the interviewer hadn't properly reviewed my CV because the questions they asked made it obvious they were looking for a different background than mine. It was disappointing to realize this during the interview based on their questions. I appreciated the opportunity, but honestly, they probably shouldn't have invited me in the first place to save everyone time.

This interview was really too much considering it was a coordinator role and fixed term. I went through two intense rounds of questioning, the last one was in person and it lasted around an hour where I was asked very vague and abstract questions, not related to my experience and skills. Along the way I lost interest in the job itself if that means being under such a structured and corporate management.

I had a recruiter call first, then 3 remote team/hiring manager interviews. After that, I went to an in-person interview at the studios. This included lunch with the whole department where one person made some really inappropriate and offensive comments. He asked a few strange questions and made comments about where I could and couldn't go. While I laughed them off at the time, looking back it was definitely too much, and the fact that no one else intervened and I needed a job made me feel vulnerable. It gave me a bad vibe about the company culture.

So I had a three-part interview process. First, there was an HR Round where they chatted with me about fitting into the company culture, my background, and what I want career-wise. They also gave me the lowdown on the job and the perks. Second, I met with the Hiring Manager. This part was more technical, digging into my past work, skills, and specific projects to see if I'd be a good fit for the team and the role. Lastly, I had a chat with the VP. This was a bigger-picture discussion about my long-term goals and how I could make an impact on the company, looking at my strategic fit and potential for growth. Overall, it felt like they really checked out my skills, how I'd fit in, and if I was on the same page as the company's objectives.
