First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SGS.
Intern
I had a group interview at SGS. There were seven interviewers, and they asked me a bunch of different questions. About half of it felt like they were checking if my personality fit the role and the company. It's important to talk a lot and be active in the interview because they want to see how you communicate and interact.
- If you had to choose one object to describe yourself, what would it be?
Category Specialist
Interviewing at SGS was a really great experience. The talent acquisition partner was super nice and focused on providing a good service. They kept in touch regularly, were very responsive, and acted professionally and respectfully. The whole hiring process was smooth, clear, and kept a positive vibe throughout.
- Can you describe your approach to various situations and scenarios for this role?
- How would you handle the situations and scenarios presented for this role?
- What motivated you to apply for this position and our company?
Talent and Development Coordinator
- Tell me about your experience in your main role.
Laboratory Technician
I had a couple of back-to-back interviews, each lasting about half an hour. One was with the lab head, and the other was with HR. Both went really well. The interviewers were super friendly and put me at ease, asking typical questions about my experience, previous workload, strengths, and weaknesses.
- What experience did you have and what functions did you perform?
- What was the workload?
- What could you bring to the company?
