It was a virtual interview with 2 managers. They asked a lot of standard interview questions, like 'tell me about yourself,' 'what are your weaknesses/strengths,' 'why should we hire you,' and 'have you ever missed a deadline.'

I applied on the company website and a day later, I received a text message that I had an interview with SGS Philippines the following day. The interview was one-on-one with someone from HR. It was a calm and friendly interview, and she didn't ask any hard questions. She just asked me about my internship, my salary expectations, what I know about SGS, the most important thing in a company, why SGS, and what kind of boss I prefer. It went fairly well, and she informed me of the next steps in the hiring process. If I passed this first round, I would have 1-2 more interviews with the supervisor and division manager, and I would hear back from them in a week. I am still waiting for their call.

The hiring person seemed very rushed and disorganized, and jumped to conclusions a lot while I was talking. They asked me personal questions about my family and made assumptions about me, like commenting on my age even though my resume showed my experience. The website looked good, but the employees and the interview experience were not what I expected. They also implied I would have to stay late a lot, even though it's a part-time entry-level job. When I said I have other long-standing commitments, the interviewer seemed unhappy about it. Overall, it was very unprofessional and I don't think it would be a good work environment, especially since they would have been my supervisor.
