Software Engineer
The interview process had 3 rounds plus an online test. The online test included simple MCQs on Java, data structures, and SQL, and two coding questions on LinkedList and Dynamic Programming. The first round was a technical round where I had to explain and potentially improve solutions to given problems, with solutions explained on paper rather than coded. The second round was a managerial round focused on my resume and conceptual understanding of topics listed on my CV. The third round was an HR round about my background and future goals.
- Can you describe the steps involved in hosting an application on the cloud?
Cybersecurity Engineer Intern
The interview process was pretty straightforward. It started with a behavioral HireVue, then a technical interview focusing on cybersecurity tools I've used and how I applied them. They didn't do any LeetCode or Codepad style questions. The hiring manager just wanted to gauge my thinking and see if my interests matched the projects they had in mind.
- Tell me about a situation where you fixed a system vulnerability, including the tools and reasoning behind your actions.
- Can you discuss your experience with various cybersecurity tools and provide examples of their application?
- How do you approach cybersecurity problems, and how might that align with the projects you'd be working on?
Product Technical Consultant
The whole thing took about 4 months and had 5 steps. First, a chat with the recruiter about my background, what the job is like, what I want money-wise, and why I'm interested. Then, a talk with the hiring manager about my experience and if I'd fit in. After that, I interviewed with the team to see how I work with others, how much I know about products, and asked for real examples. Next, I talked to a Sales Director about working with other departments and industry stuff. Lastly, a final chat with the Director, which was more about high-level thinking, how quickly I learn, and how flexible I am.
- Can you tell me about your greatest strength and an area where you'd like to develop or change approach?
- What is your greatest strength and what is something you would like to improve on?
Business Analyst
It had 4 phases. First was aptitude and technical test from which 18 out of 300+ candidates were shortlisted. Next was Technical interview round. Most of it was resume screening and guesstimates. Some HR questions like describe "how did you handle a group project?" or "describe an incident in life where you felt successful" were also asked in this round. I cleared this round (10 out of 18 shortlisted for next round). Then comes Presentation round. This round was a deciding factor. One really needs to be super good at communication for this. A 5-min presentation was taken with a timer after which cross-questioning was done. They also played rapid fire with the candidates (which was weird) (5 out of 10 were shortlisted). I got rejected in this round. The final round was HR round. Typical HR questions were asked. Finally only 1 student made it through HR round.
- Can you estimate the number of 6s hit by Indian cricket players annually?
- Given an airline database with passenger and flight details, what insights can be derived to boost sales?
