Submitted an online application in April. The initial screening was a 1-hour HackerRank test which felt pretty easy, it had 15 multiple-choice questions and 3 open-ended ones, I finished it in about 20 minutes. Then there was a 15-minute HR phone call where they asked about my past internships and the offered salary, which they said was non-negotiable. After that, I got invited to a 1-hour interview with the team and the manager. The first 20 minutes involved some simple math and logic problems. Next, there was a 10-minute practical problem where I had to do some aggregation of items and write tests for it, all done on a future coworker's laptop. The remaining time was spent discussing my previous experience (projects), tools I've used, and my approach to testing.
- Could you implement a basic function for grouping and sorting in IntelliJ, and then design and write tests for it?
- Can you explain what CI is?
- What build system do you prefer and what are your reasons for that choice?

Started with an aptitude test, which had 3 parts. The first part was general aptitude, the second covered Java and C, and the third was a coding section. Then, there was a technical round focusing on OO concepts, data structures, and OS, including coding problems like factorial, Fibonacci, palindrome, and string reversal. The last round was with HR to discuss strengths, weaknesses, and hobbies.
- Questions based on data structures
- factorial program
- fibonacci program

The first contact was a recruiter, but I had to reschedule. He mumbled a lot during the call and didn't ask me anything about myself. I then spoke with the hiring manager, which was a pleasant phone call, and I advanced to the final round of face-to-face interviews. However, on the day of that interview, I received a call stating the position had been moved to Poland. Very unprofessional experience.
