The interview had a few questions and then two quick written answers. Sabre employees asked the questions using pre-recorded videos. It was a pretty easy interview and one of the better HireVue interviews since Sabre tries to make it feel personal.

It had 4 phases. First was aptitude and technical test from which 18 out of 300+ candidates were shortlisted. Next was Technical interview round. Most of it was resume screening and guesstimates. Some HR questions like describe "how did you handle a group project?" or "describe an incident in life where you felt successful" were also asked in this round. I cleared this round (10 out of 18 shortlisted for next round). Then comes Presentation round. This round was a deciding factor. One really needs to be super good at communication for this. A 5-min presentation was taken with a timer after which cross-questioning was done. They also played rapid fire with the candidates (which was weird) (5 out of 10 were shortlisted). I got rejected in this round. The final round was HR round. Typical HR questions were asked. Finally only 1 student made it through HR round.

The interview experience was mostly negative or neutral. The interviewer was technical but didn't seem to know much about the specific Business Systems Analyst role. Apparently, all interviews were similar, even for different positions. Some questions were technical, focusing on programming, linear, and integer programming. The interviewer seemed uncomfortable, possibly new to interviewing. It was hard to ask questions because he only knew about his own department. I never heard back from Sabre, even after trying to follow up multiple times, which is unusual for me. No phone call, email, or response from HR. It left a really bad impression of the company.
