It was a 3-stage process: first a phone call, then recorded videos, and finally a face-to-face interview. The initial phone call with the talent acquisition partner was brief, covering my CV and a few experience-related questions. The second stage involved recording video answers to 10 questions. I had 5 minutes to prep for each question before recording. The face-to-face interview delved deeper into similar questions as the video ones, plus some additional scenario-based questions.

I was contacted by a recruiter about this Data Engineer position. After reviewing the job description, I decided to proceed with the interview process. My first meeting was with the hiring manager, where we discussed my background and career goals, and their expectations for the role. Following that, I was informed about a take-home assessment designed to gauge cultural fit, which they described as a 'simple set of questions.' Upon receiving the link, I found it was essentially an IQ test. As I was on vacation and unable to give it proper attention, I did not complete the assessment. Consequently, the link expired, and I haven't heard back from them since.

So, I went through a personality test first, then a call with the recruiter. After that, I had an interview with the hiring manager. They mentioned that the next step would be an in-person presentation for the top two candidates, but I didn't make it to that stage. It was a bit of a hassle because the recruiter was late for my initial interview and had double-booked the hiring manager, so I had to follow up a lot to get things rescheduled.
