First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Red Bull.
Marketing Analyst
the process had two stages, first a self-recorded video with behavioral questions and then an in-person case study presentation. The case study was about red bull and marketing. The interview was relaxed, they offer you red bulls during the interview.
- What makes you want to join Red Bull?
Merchandiser
I applied online and got an email about a week later. First, I had a video interview where I talked to myself and answered behavioral questions. Then, there was a quick 5-minute phone interview to make sure I had a car and could do basic tasks. After that, I went in for a face-to-face meeting with two managers. They asked basic behavioral questions, which was nerve-wracking since it was my first interview, but I managed. I think making them laugh was a good sign. About a week later, I got a call to do a drug test. I got the job offer about 3-4 days after that.
- What's your approach to dealing with an unhappy customer regarding a product?
- Can you share an example of a project you completed as part of a team?
- How would you manage a situation where a teammate isn't contributing their share?
Merchandiser
I applied for a merchandiser job in October but didn't hear back. Then, a position opened again in January, and I was told to go to a site for on-screen interview questions. I had about 30 seconds to prep and 3 minutes to answer, all on camera with a voice recording. It was awkward, but I guess I did okay because I got a second call. They asked pretty basic questions during the video interview. The hardest was probably, "why would you like to work at red bull?" "do you drink red bull, what appealing about it?" "tell me your strengths and weakness'". I got a call last week from HR, and she asked if a time would work for a manager to call me. About 15 days later, I had my second call today. He must be looking for someone because the only question he asked was about my previous jobs and experience, and if I had experience with merchandising. He told me the hours and pay, and I really thought I had it. But he said he still has a few people to talk to, though he'd like to hire me. Once they decide, I'll get an email, then a drug test and training.
