Behavioral Technical

They emailed me about 3 months after applying for an interview. I had a 30 minute video call with two team members where they asked a mix of behavioral and technical questions. They said they would follow up within two weeks, but that never happened, and I never heard back. Even an automated rejection email didn't come. One of the interviewers had some English language barriers, making his questions a bit unclear, so I had to ask for clarification a few times before I could answer.

I applied for an IT intern role focused on data infrastructure. The interview started with a discussion about my resume, covering my personal projects, achievements, and roles. The interviewer then asked me some SQL questions and I had to type my query answers directly in the chat. It was a fun experience talking to the interviewer, ngl.

The hiring process was lengthy, spanning over three months, which felt like a lot of wasted time. Despite completing three interviews, the CX Manager or leader was too busy to follow up with a call or email to the remaining candidates. The entire experience left me with an arrogant impression and a lack of visibility, making it feel like a disorganized mess.

I applied online and heard back from a recruiter about a week later. She was really nice and told me why the job was open and what the pay was. A few days after that, another recruiter set up a Teams interview for me with the hiring manager. It went great! They mentioned they had interviews scheduled for the next week and I'd know about the final round after that. I didn't hear anything for a week, so I emailed the recruiter who set up the interview to ask for an update. No response. Another week passed, and I was really hoping for this job. I sent another polite, short email to the recruiter asking if I was still being considered. That was on a Friday. Then, on Tuesday morning very early, I got an automated rejection email. I'm really upset about not getting the position, but I'm even more disappointed with how they handled the communication. Please don't ghost candidates after they interview; we're people with hopes, and a quick reply takes no time at all.
