Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at PPG.
Key Account Manager
I had my first meeting with HR and my direct manager. A few weeks later, I had a second meeting with N+2. Communication was smooth and I received quick feedback when I sent emails. The final decision took a while, and I had to send a reminder email to get a follow-up.
- What makes you want to look for a new company?
Senior Account Manager
The interview process involved 5 rounds, after which I was ghosted. HR or anyone never responded to my final follow-ups. It was disappointing for such a reputable organization. At a minimum, I should have received notice about other candidates, as every other company would do.
- Can you describe your criteria and experience that make you a good fit for this role?
Key Account Manager
RH contacted me about the open position, asking about my profile and experience. Then, they explained the job duties and benefits. After that, I had an interview with the Manager and then the Channel Subdirector. Following the interviews, I was contacted for medical exams to continue. Once those were done, they called me with the great news that I was selected.
- Tell me about your experience.
- Describe your personality.
- How do you approach planning?
