So the first interview was onsite and it was the only interview I had, because the manager wanted to fill the position fast. The interview was with the manager and a colleague and it went pretty well. They asked the usual behavioral questions and it lasted about an hour. After the interview on Tuesday, they said a decision would be made by the end of the week. I didn't hear back for two weeks, so I emailed them to see if the position was still open, but I got no response. About a month later, I got a call asking if I was still interested in the position and if I had any other questions about my resume. The manager made it sound like I was their top choice and that an offer was coming soon because she wanted to move forward with hiring. The questions they asked were to wrap things up. Another two weeks passed with no word. I emailed again, saying I was encouraged by our chat and was still interested. A week later, I got an email apologizing and saying the job went to someone else. I get that they had to make a decision, but I'm really upset about how this whole thing was handled, from the lack of communication to the false hope I was given. I really expected better from a company my family has worked for, and I'm honestly shocked by how unprofessional it was. I don't think I'll be applying here again.

I had to take a skills test, and then I met with the manager one-on-one. The test covered math and other skills. After the interview, I was offered the job right away. Then I had to do a drug test. It was a pretty simple process overall.

The interview process was very thorough and satisfactory. The recruiter gave the candidate time to express themselves and actively listened. The overall impression was rather positive. The interview started on time, with no delays, and the job responsibilities were clearly explained.
