It was a lighthearted and engaging interview. The managers were very easy to talk to, and I felt like I really got to show them what I'm capable of with the questions they asked. I'd suggest really focusing on the questions and not getting too much into detail, but making sure to include necessary information that they can follow up with. Also, include some technical stuff in your preparation.

Behavioral Presentation

First, you do a virtual interview where you upload videos of yourself answering questions. Use examples from your past and current work. Your vocabulary matters. Then, you talk to HR, who will confirm your resume and tell you about the company. Finally, you meet with managers who ask basic interview questions, similar to the videos but with real people.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was pretty standard, though the interviewer was a bit unclear when asked about the company's financial health and employee turnover. They mostly asked general questions, so make sure you have real-life examples ready to go, showing how you've handled problems and found solutions. It was straightforward aside from those couple of points.

  • Tell me about a time you faced an obstacle at work and how you got past it.
  • Can you share an instance where you had to overcome a challenge in your professional life?

The interviewers were great up until I couldn't answer. They ask questions starting from the basics and then move to more complex topics. There were three interviewers. The questions were mostly technical. One interviewer asked about my thesis and work experience, another about statistical concepts, and the third about programming. The interview lasted for about an hour.

  • Could you describe the different phases of clinical trials?
  • What are your thoughts on SAS basics?
  • What are some fundamental biostatistics concepts?
