So, the interview had 2 rounds. First was a phone call with HR for the initial screening. Then, there was a technical interview with the senior programming manager. They really dug into my experience and asked some questions about the programming languages I know, like Java. I didn't do great because I didn't prep enough, so it didn't work out. The interviewer was pretty chill about it though.

I got an email with a date for a phone interview, and was told I'd have an on-site interview if I passed the phone screen. I had to reschedule the initial phone screen date. The actual phone screen lasted only 15 minutes and had two interviewers. They asked about my background, some behavioral questions, and at least one technical question. It seemed like they were looking for a data analyst, mentioning technologies like SAS and R, rather than a software engineer. Since the job description didn't specify programming languages, I had to ask which ones they used. I found out the next day that I wasn't selected because they had candidates who were a better fit.
