Safety Specialist
I interviewed for a pharmacovigilance associate role at Accenture about a month ago. The interviewer seemed positive and said I'd hear back. I waited a month and called HR, who was very rude. I then asked an Accenture employee and found out my application is on hold because the project I interviewed for was cancelled, putting over a hundred applications on hold. They're still hiring people, but not us, because their project got cancelled, which has nothing to do with us. It's really disappointing to get such an unfair response from a reputable company.
- Were the interview questions up to standard?
Safety Specialist
We had a first round with HR about the company, then a technical round with the manager about my past experience and how things are done. There was also a part where I had to assess an adverse event report, answer some questions, and write a narrative sample.
- Can you describe your primary duties as a case reviewer and the associated timelines?
- Please assess the provided adverse event report, and be prepared to answer related questions and complete a narrative writing sample.
- Could you elaborate on the timelines related to your case review responsibilities?
Country Specialist
First, I completed a short computer test. The interview was rescheduled twice, last minute each time. The phone interview lasted over two hours. Three different people were on the call. The first two asked the same questions. The third person joined halfway through and they both asked questions. They seemed distracted and didn't seem to listen to my answers. I found out they didn't have experience with the role and were from different departments. The entire process felt like a waste of time and lasted almost three hours.
- Can you share an instance where you exceeded the requirements of your role?
- Describe how you manage your time when faced with multiple responsibilities.
