First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OMD.
Executive
Applied for an entry-level position. Went through one interview round. Quick turnaround from application to interview. The interview was 1 hour and included a presentation. There was a long wait for feedback. Feedback said I was overqualified. Recruitment team didn't suggest other roles. Either feedback was wrong or they don't focus on keeping good candidates.
- What is your motivation for this role?
Account Executive
It was a very efficient and straightforward process- I saw the job posted on Seek then applied via their website. Within a few days I was contacted by the hiring manager to set up an initial phone screening interview. She asked what I was looking for and described a bit more about the role. I then was scheduled in for an online interview the following week with two Account Managers. The interviewers were friendly, explained to me more about the role and the team I'd be working with, and ask me questions related to my experience. I was then offered the role over the phone the next day by the hiring manager. Overall, a very transparent, easy, and positive experience!
- Can you run us through your background and experience?

Activation Assistant
So, there were 4 rounds for this entry level gig, which honestly felt like a bit much. But, the whole thing was pretty good and laid out nicely. The first couple of rounds were just me and one interviewer, and the last one was a group of three people. They also had this online test for basic smarts and how you think. It wasn't super hard.
- Could you share some marketing campaigns you've really liked?
- What actions would you take if you noticed a client's CPC was going up?
Service Desk Analyst
The interview process was quite interesting. The interviewers were very understanding and offered great support. I enjoyed my time interviewing and appreciated the chance to learn from others on the call. The questions covered standard HR topics and also included technical questions about my previous experience.
- Can you describe your experience?
- Could you elaborate on your past experiences?
- Tell me about your previous work.
