Before the interviews, there was a significant amount of preparatory work. It took me 4 hours to complete a questionnaire and an additional hour for another form, which I'm uncertain were reviewed before the interviews. The interviews themselves went well. The women I met were all wonderful people. I believe we all concluded it wouldn't have been the best fit for either side. However, it was quite disappointing not to receive any communication from HR after the interviews, not even to inform me that an offer wouldn't be extended. That part was highly unprofessional.

Behavioral Presentation

I applied for a Project Manager position on LinkedIn and heard back from a recruiter within about 2 days. The first chat was pretty straightforward, the recruiter asked about my background, why I wanted to switch into advertising after 4 years in a different field, and explained the PM job at OMD. After that, I had a WebEx interview with my current manager. We talked for about 30 more minutes, which made me feel like they wanted to hire me and that I'd move on to the next step. Right after that call, I was asked to write a 500-word essay about my vision for the future advertising agency. I sent it in by the end of the week, and on the same day I submitted it, I was asked to meet with my future boss. We met at a cafe, which was way more relaxed than a formal office interview. I got the job offer right after our in-person chat. The whole hiring experience with OMD was great. Getting hired in just 10 days is super fast for a big company like this, and I was really impressed by how quick everything was.

The interview overall felt pretty good. The HRBP was quite engaged. They asked about my past work and how specific situations I was involved in resulted in business outcomes. I wasn't completely happy with how they addressed questions about the company's culture and its values.
