First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OMD.
Negotiator
I spoke with four different people. It felt like a casual chat, though it wasn't very professional. I emailed them after the interview and didn't get a response. I tried emailing again a couple of weeks later, and still no reply. It seemed like a cool place to work, but the people didn't seem nice. They weren't very professional; they all seemed like young college kids who had no clue what they were doing.
- What's your favorite TV show?
Negotiator
Had a quick phone call first with the office manager to talk about the job. Then went in person to talk to the associate directors of the department. After that, had another phone interview with the director of the department. Got the offer about two weeks later.
- What makes you interested in the media industry?
Negotiator
The interview was pretty standard. They asked me about my past jobs and how I could add value to the company. They also shared a lot of info about the company and how the department operates. Everyone was really nice and friendly.
- Can you tell me about an area where you see room for improvement?
