First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OMD.
Intern
The interview process went well, and the interviewer was pleasant. It felt more like a casual chat about my background and work history rather than a formal interview. I heard back from them in about one to two weeks.
- Can you tell me about your greatest strength?
- What do you consider your weaknesses?
- What motivates your interest in this position?
Intern
I had an initial interview with two managers and then another one about a week later with HR and an account director. I didn't hear back from HR for a few weeks and only got a call once someone I knew at the company pushed them to let me know. I then got a chance for a third interview, and after that, I got a job offer about half an hour later.
- What makes you prefer a media agency over a creative agency?
Intern
First, I met with the hiring manager to go over what the day-to-day tasks and team mission would look like. Then, the second part of the interview was a chat in English with the manager to assess my ability to work with the team, given its international nature.
- Can you tell me about your understanding of the industry?
