1. HR Phone Screen This is a quick "vibe check." Expect the basics: your background, strengths, weaknesses, and the "money talk" (salary expectations). It’s mostly to see if you’re a match on paper and personality. 2. The Assessment Test Next, you’ll get a written test (usually 3 questions). They want to see your "marketing sense"—how you analyze a campaign and think on your feet. The kicker is usually the last question: a pitch about yourself. This is your chance to show them you can sell a brand, starting with your own. 3. Hiring Manager Interview This is the deep dive into your actual work. You’ll talk through your portfolio, how you handle pressure, and how you manage accounts. They are looking for functional expertise and a problem-solving mindset. 4. Final Interview with the Head of department By now, they know you can do the job; they just want to see if you fit the culture.

Behavioral Technical

The whole thing took about 2 weeks, which was super quick and went smoothly. I talked to HR, then the Team Lead, then a Sr. Content person, and finally the Director. Some people mentioned a talent test, but I didn't get one. All the interviews went well, and they even asked if I could start immediately. But, after I passed everything, HR asked for my salary expectations (which were pretty standard for the market). Soon after, they told me they went with someone else. I tried to get feedback but got no reply and was totally ghosted.

I had an interview at Ogilvy for a marketing role. The recruiter call lasted barely 10 minutes, which was more than enough to gauge the level of consideration given to candidates. The interview had a tense and closed atmosphere. The recruiter's tone was dry, she interrupted me several times, barely let me elaborate on my answers, and seemed more focused on checking boxes than understanding my background. There was no active listening or constructive exchange. Most shockingly, there was no follow-up afterward. No email, no feedback, even after I followed up. For an agency that claims to be at the forefront of communication, the lack of professionalism is glaring. If this is how they treat talent during recruitment, I can only imagine what it's like internally. Very disappointed with this experience, and honestly relieved I didn't join them.

Behavioral Presentation

I went through a three-stage interview process with the PR & Influencer team. The first stage was with HR, which I passed. The second stage was with two managers, and I passed that too. The third stage was with directors and involved a task. The two managers weren't aware beforehand that it would be task-based and seemed unprepared. I answered everything and then got ghosted. Even if I wasn't the best fit, a simple rejection email would have been appreciated. A week later, I emailed HR and got no response. Two weeks after that, I emailed the directors and was ghosted again. It's frustrating when companies do this, especially when jobs are hard to find. I had all the experience, so maybe I just wasn't charismatic enough.
