The team was really friendly and took the time to explain all their policies and what they were looking for in the role. They asked me a bunch of questions about myself and my resume. They were open to what I wanted to do and what I could offer.

First, there was a screening call with a recruiter. Then, I had a one-hour call with the hiring manager and another person. They asked questions for pretty much the whole hour. The next stage was a presentation task. After that, I'm not sure because the recruiter went silent after I pushed back on the only two time slots they gave me for the presentation.

It was a 4 step interview process that took around 2 1/2 months. It included a phone screen, a hiring manager interview, a panel interview, and a final panel interview. Everything was done virtually. Honestly, it was a bad experience. They initially told me the salary range was 84-88k during the first interview. I mentioned I was looking for closer to 90k, but could consider 88k if the benefits package was good. After the final interview, they didn't contact me for 3 weeks, then called to offer me the job, but at 80k, which was below the range they'd given me. They wouldn't negotiate at all. Their exact words when I asked about increasing the offer were: “We are sticking with our offer at $80,000. Completely understand the disappointment – that is the correct salary band, but for folks who have more experience as we have account supervisors ranging from 5-8 years of experience. This $80k gives you the space to grow within the Account Supervisor level and receive a merit increase without a promotion, based on performance/KPIs, financial health of the business, & internal/external benchmarking.” I turned down the offer. I wouldn't have bothered with the interviews if I'd known that was the real salary range. It felt like a waste of my time and theirs given the long process, only to lowball me at the end. It was insulting and rude.
