First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ogilvy.
Project Manager
The interviewers made me feel welcome and engaged, allowing me to easily talk about my background, ideas, and skills. They asked interesting questions that showed they were really interested in my history and how I approach design, which I appreciated a lot. All in all, it was a great experience, and it made me even more eager to possibly work with such a vibrant team.

Project Manager
The whole thing took two weeks. Started with an online application. Then a 30 min HR phone call. After that, a 1-hour in-person interview with my future manager (n+1). And finally, another 1-hour in-person interview with n+2. Then nothing... even though the interviews went well. I followed up after two weeks, they promised a quick reply, but I never heard back. Total ghosting. Recruiters, a little more respect for candidates' time would be nice.
- Could you tell me why you're interested in Ogilvy?
- What are your understandings of this role?
- How does this position align with your career goals?
Digital Project Manager
It was tough; they wanted to know specific results and programs I'd used in the past as an organizer/manager. Since I came right out of college and didn't have standard 'agency' experience, I had to explain why I could apply my skills and learn quickly.
- Which project management software have you utilized previously for managing projects?
- Could you detail your prior experience in organizing and managing projects?
- Given your recent graduation and absence of traditional agency experience, how do you propose to leverage your skills for this position?
