This interview process was way too long, dragging on for three months from January 2026. I applied for one role, but they considered me for another, even though they kept reposting the original position. It was frustrating because they ended up rejecting me after the final interview, with the recruiter saying they were 'going another direction.' It felt like they just posted the job and then hired someone internally. I had multiple interviews and even prepared a case study presentation, which is a lot, especially since I'm already working in this field. It's no surprise their stock has dropped; it lacked any professionalism.

Behavioral Technical

My interview process went very well from start to finish. I prepared carefully by reviewing the job description, researching the company, and reflecting on my previous experiences. During the interview, I felt confident and communicated my skills clearly. I answered both technical and behavioral questions with relevant examples. I also asked thoughtful questions, showing my interest and motivation. Overall, it was a positive experience and I believe I made a strong impression.

The process was pretty simple. First, I spoke with HR. They asked about my salary expectations, then mentioned the role paid less and that I might be overqualified. It was only a small difference, so I said I felt qualified and that I'd taken this role intentionally. I also mentioned I'd accept the salary if the team and culture were a good fit. Then, I interviewed with the hiring manager. It was a casual chat. The last interview was with a PM3 who works on the team. It was a more typical behavioral interview, but oddly, it was over the phone. A few days later, I was told I was 'overqualified' with no other feedback.

Behavioral Other

The recruiting process here was pretty disappointing. Recruiters act friendly at first, but it feels fake, and they don't mean it when they say to reach out. Even after several interview rounds and talking to about 10 people, ghosting seems to be the standard. I was told multiple times I'd hear back soon, but recruiters just ignore you and miss their own deadlines with no follow-up or feedback for weeks or months. Hiring managers are also unresponsive. In my first interview with the hiring managers, they were late and asked strange questions unrelated to the job, and they seemed really uninterested. After months, I got a generic rejection, and they hired someone less qualified who was friends with the recruiter. The salaries are low, and the company seems to be struggling, so maybe it worked out for the best.
