The interview process was super long, with five rounds. It started with an HR screen and three rounds of behavioral questions, then an Excel assessment. Even though it took a while, the interviewers were nice and I liked talking to them. But like others said, I got ghosted in the end. I followed up twice and heard nothing, so I took another job. It left a really bad impression of the company. I don't get why someone wouldn't at least be polite enough to say no.

My interview process with Newell Brands was such a positive experience! The company really respected my time, which is oftentimes overlooked by other companies during the hiring process. After submitting my application online, I was contacted within a week by a Talent Acquisitions lead who I spoke to for a short phone interview. After the phone interview, I was asked to set up an in-person interview in the Atlanta office, during which I spoke to 3 different individuals. I was moved to the next step of the process less than 24 hours after my in-person interview, where I was asked to set up a final interview with the hiring manager. I was offered the position a few hours after the final interview.

The interview process began with a pre-screen call with Talent Acquisition, which went well. Three days later, I had a call with a SVP. He started by saying he had a hard stop in 30 minutes and wanted to make sure I knew what I was getting into. The first 25 minutes were spent on a review of his career and the type of team he wanted to build, followed by 5 minutes of him asking me questions. Three days after that, I received an email stating that he felt others were a better fit for his team. I have over 20 years of experience in this job at Fortune 100 companies larger than Newell, so it's interesting how such a conclusion was reached based on a 5-minute conversation. I feel like I dodged a bullet on this one.
