The interview experience was challenging. It consisted of 3 main stages. First, there was an interview with the hiring manager. Then, a technical manager conducted an interview that included some technical questions. Finally, there was a multi-hour interview which involved a presentation and one-on-one interviews, where more technical questions were asked. The grading was considered fair, and the interviewers were friendly.

This was a 6-week interview process. It kicked off with a recruiter screening call, followed by a hiring manager Zoom meeting. After that, I did a field ride-along with a sales representative. I also made it a point to connect with the current local Clinical Specialist (CS) team via phone calls. They actually suggested I do as many informational interviews as I could with the local team.

I had an initial chat with HR to go over basic stuff like my availability, if I needed sponsorship, and salary expectations. Then, I had a one-on-one with the manager, who asked me about my projects, skills, and how I've handled leadership and learning. After that, there was a take-home technical test with two parts: one coding question in a language of my choice (I picked Python), and another theoretical question. The final round was an in-person interview with four team members (one manager and three seniors). We kicked off by discussing my take-home assignment and the reasoning behind my coding decisions. Then, they asked about unit testing, ML, SQL, and presented me with a situational problem to solve on the blackboard.

It was a 6-round interview process, which is understandable given it's a well-regarded product-based company. The first four rounds were technical. The last technical round could cover anything about SAP SD integration, even if it's not on your resume. Integration with third-party software is really important, they want to know what other software you've integrated with SAP ECC6.0 or S/4 HANA. FIORI might also come up. The last two rounds were managerial.
