Behavioral Presentation

It was a pretty standard interview process, starting with a recruiter sync, then a hiring manager interview, followed by a director level interview. The final round involved a panel where I had to give a project presentation. The whole thing dragged on from June 2025 to November 2025. I actually got rejected the first time, but they reached out again a month later to interview with the hiring manager. All the interviews pretty much focused on how I'd handle tough clients or tricky client situations, mixing in 'tell me about a time when' questions with some hypothetical ones. The final project was basically a mock client kickoff call presented to a panel of 4 people. Honestly, everyone I talked to was super nice and really engaging, and I felt great after each conversation. The final round felt really validating and went well. But then it took them a month and a half to get back to me, just to say they were moving forward with other candidates. Recruiting barely gave any updates, so it felt like they were just keeping me on the back burner, maybe hoping for someone better? People were lovely though! The process itself wasn't the best.

The hiring process was super quick, which was awesome and not something you see often! They seemed to know what they wanted and asked some really good questions. You also get a good sense of the people you'd be working with. The recruiters were really on top of things and helpful throughout. Overall, a great experience.

I applied for this Deal Desk Analyst job, which had been reposted, so I figured they hadn't found the right person. I first chatted with a recruiter, then interviewed with the hiring manager, and it went really well. The HM mentioned they were pretty far along with other candidates, so I quickly messaged the recruiter to try and get the final interviews scheduled ASAP. They sent me a link to pick my availability, but the earliest I could get was three weeks out. I picked it, but also emailed saying that seemed pretty far out and I was available to interview sooner. I also had to prepare a presentation. About a week before my scheduled interviews and presentation, the recruiter emailed to say the role was filled and they cancelled everything. It was a super disappointing way to find out, felt like a big waste of my time.

Behavioral Coding

The recruiter contacted me and we discussed the interview process. The recruiter seemed to be reading my resume for the first time and didn't know much about the role, which gave me a bad feeling. He also made comments about where I lived. He said I was moving on to a conversation with the hiring manager to discuss my experiences, and that it wouldn't be technical. I prepared for this, but the next round was a coding question instead of a discussion about my background. I emailed the recruiter about the discrepancy and asked for a re-interview. A week later, I haven't heard back, so I assume he's ignoring it. It was a bad experience because I wanted to work there.
