Had an initial phone screen with a recruiter, and they said they would schedule a 2nd step with the hiring manager. The process between those steps took 3 weeks. Then I got automated rejection emails. It wasn't until 2 weeks after that someone in talent contacted me to say they didn't want to advance me to the 2nd round after all. I would not interview for any opportunity at this company again.

Behavioral Presentation

I got contacted on LinkedIn by a Talent Acquisition person from NY asking if I wanted to check out a role at LiveRamp. I wasn't really looking but they told me more and I decided to apply. A few days later, I had a phone chat with Recruiting from SF who was really nice and just wanted to see if I was interested and a good fit. After that went well, I talked on the phone with the hiring manager. He asked about how familiar I am with LiveRamp and their data stuff. It was a good chat, and he said I should come in for the last part, which was an onsite interview in NYC. The onsite had a bunch of interviews with his team and I had to give a 30-minute presentation. The whole LiveRamp hiring process felt really smooth and put together. It seemed like each step made sense and gave me a chance to really show them why I wanted the job. Talent Acquisition kept me in the loop the whole time. I felt like they valued my time. On the day of the onsite, everyone was really welcoming, and they showed me around the NYC office. The office felt chill and the culture seemed laid-back, which I liked and felt comfortable in. I met some of the team and saw the cool office stuff like the stocked kitchen and game lounge. Meeting the hiring manager and his team, I could totally see myself working there. Overall, it was a really good experience from start to finish!

Behavioral Presentation

The process started with a recruiter call, then a 1:1 with the hiring manager, and then a panel and presentation. The recruiter was unprepared, didn't call on time, and couldn't answer basic questions about the presentation. The coordinator had to step in. I was given a very vague description of the 3-hour panel and presentation and couldn't get clarity from the recruiter. After multiple unanswered emails and still no clear direction, I cancelled the interview. It was disappointing because I was interested, but the red flags were too many.
