First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LiveRamp.
Office Manager
I was pretty stoked to interview with LiveRamp, but what I experienced was kinda surprising. Nobody said hi or even noticed me when I got there, and the front desk ladies seemed totally uninterested and not welcoming at all. Maybe it wasn't on purpose, but it was definitely odd. A simple "how can I help you?" would have been fine. That was a first for me in all my interviews, and it gave me a bad vibe about their company culture. The interview process itself was okay overall.
- What would you do if you were the mayor of San Francisco and an earthquake hit?
- Can you share an example of a challenging situation you've faced?
- How would you approach being the mayor of San Francisco during an earthquake?
Manager
The interview process was largely technical, focusing on assessing both theoretical knowledge and practical application. Some questions were designed to evaluate decision-making abilities. Importantly, strong communication skills are a key expectation.
- Can you introduce yourself?
Implementation Manager
Had a 30 min call with someone on the team. Then I had interviews with 3 other people, which included a powerpoint presentation where I had to show how I present to both technical and non-technical audiences. The interview itself was fine. My main problem was with recruiting: none of my emails asking questions about the process were answered during the interviews. Also, the presentation details weren't clear, which caused a lot of confusion. After my panel interview, I waited for weeks to find out I didn't get the job. After a month-long process, I got a generic auto email saying the position was filled and they're no longer interviewing. This kind of response is usually for people who haven't interviewed yet, not for candidates who went through the whole process.
- Can you describe your project management approach and how you ensure effective communication?
