First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Levi Strauss.
Key Holder
The interview mainly focused on behavioural questions. The interviewer reviewed my CV and asked me to expand on experiences that were relevant to the role, including further clarification on specific points. Many of the questions were situation-based, and the interview concluded with an opportunity for me to ask any questions.
- Tell me about a time you had to work with a challenging teammate. How did you manage the situation, and what was the result?
Commercial Manager
The interview process is quite lengthy, typically spanning 4 to 5 rounds, and can take up to two months to complete. Despite the extended timeline, the interview experiences are generally positive, with most interviews conducted online. The offer letter usually arrives one to two weeks after the final round. A reference check is also part of the process, which involves some additional paperwork and consent from the candidate, but it doesn't take too long.
- Could you describe a particularly challenging task you've faced and explain how you managed to overcome it?
IT Consultant
The hiring process was smooth and organized. It kicked off with an HR chat to check background and interest, followed by one or two meetings with operational managers. They were open, helpful, and focused on skills, past work, and if I fit the role. Response times were okay and they kept me updated.
- Can you tell me about a specific time you had to solve a tough problem, detailing your approach and the outcome?
Financial Analyst
The process included a recruiter call, manager call, director call, VP of finance call, and another director call. Majority behavioral so asking about my work ethic, strength/weakness, etc. One of the interviewers asked about how I would approach forecasting but it was very high level.
- What do you consider your greatest strengths?
- Can you describe your work ethic?
- What are your strongest and weakest points?
