Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Levi Strauss.
Sales Associate
I was interviewed in the backroom, and the process was pretty straightforward and relaxed. I got hired right away after showing my resume and turning up. They asked basic questions about when I could start and my past work.
- Can you tell me about your availability?
- What would you say are your strengths and weaknesses?
- Could you describe your responsibilities in your last role?
Sales Associate
It's a group interview, with a variable number of people, sometimes 10+. You'll be asked to talk about yourself and also do some exercises to see how you engage with others and work as a team. Jeans are appropriate attire for the interview.
- You'll be paired with another candidate and tasked with convincing the managers to hire them, which assesses sales skills, working memory, and teamwork abilities.
Sales Associate
I showed up on time, but then had to wait about 30 minutes for the interview to start. It was in doubles, which I thought was strange. Overall, it was a pretty standard retail entry-level job interview.
- Can you tell me something about yourself?
- In what ways can your past work experience be beneficial for this role?
- What is your motivation for seeking employment with Levi's?
