Group Behavioral Technical Case

I handed my CV in to Levi's in Cabot Circus (Bristol) and got a phone call a few days later asking me to come for a group interview. Around 20 other people showed up, which was a bit intimidating as I was expecting only about 5. Most of the others seemed younger and stylish, wearing some Levi's item, and I wore my Levi's jeans too. We were divided into 4 groups of 5 for a team-building task where we had to lift plastic cups using string without touching the cups; it was quite tricky. Our group didn't do as well as another one that finished quickly. Next, we had to fold a pile of Levi's jeans by size and using the right folding method, which turned out to be harder than it looked, and many of us had to redo our piles multiple times. One manager even called someone's pile 'disgusting'! After that, we had to share an interesting fact about ourselves. Then we went upstairs for a group discussion about our past and present jobs and our interest in this role and what it entails. Finally, there was a brief one-on-one interview to confirm availability.

Behavioral Other

I found the job on Craig's List and also dropped off my resume in person to make a good impression. They contacted me for a quick phone call to see why I wanted to work for Levi's. After that, I was asked to come in for a one-on-one interview that lasted about an hour with typical interview questions. At the end of that interview, I had to fill out some background and reference check forms. A few days later, I had a brief phone interview with the district manager where they mostly reviewed my qualifications. Finally, I got an offer. The whole thing took around 3 weeks.

Applied online and then got a call about a month later to schedule an interview for the very next day. It's a good idea to be early as they noted my arrival time when I came in 10 minutes ahead of schedule. The interview itself was pleasant; I really connected with the interviewer who was engaging and attentive to my responses. We discussed my customer service abilities, availability, and current employment. I made sure to show I'd done my research on the brand by mentioning it during our conversation. We ended up chatting for quite a while, which ran a bit over the scheduled time. Although I didn't ask about the timeline for a decision, the interviewer's "see you soon" felt promising. I received a job offer via phone call that evening and started training the following day.
