Store Manager
I submitted my application through the Levis website. About a week after applying, a recruiter reached out to set up a phone interview for two weeks later. I thought this was a long time to wait, so I scheduled it during my lunch break, expecting it to take about an hour. After waiting 15 minutes past the scheduled time, I called the recruiter to confirm if it was still a good time to talk. She mentioned she had accidentally scheduled it for Pacific time instead of Eastern. I quickly checked my email and sent her the confirmation showing Eastern time, but I was still willing to talk later that day. During our actual phone conversation, the recruiter kept pausing because her cleaning person was at her house and she had to speak with them. Two weeks after the interview, I got an email saying I wasn't moving forward. The recruiter included herself on the reply-all, which I think was to have a record in case I wanted to complain. All in all, it was a very unprofessional experience.
- Can you tell me about the key performance indicators (KPIs) for businesses you've managed previously?
Store Manager
The communication for networking and the initial emails were good. The interview itself was tough, but that's expected for this kind of job. I had a peer interview with two other store managers in a panel, then met with a District Manager, and finally a Regional Manager. The whole hiring process was really positive. They even sent me to another store for a two-week training period, which was a great way to learn about different operational processes.
- What feedback would your employees give about how you lead?
Store Manager
It was a pretty laid-back interview process. It didn't take more than about 30-45 minutes. First, I had an in-person interview with the Store Manager. Then, I had a phone interview with the District HR Manager. Finally, I had a phone interview with the District Manager. The whole thing took about two weeks to finish.
