Typical process. 1 HR round, 2 screening rounds, and then rounds with higher management. The HR was really good and explained things well, but the people who did the technical rounds were super unprofessional. One guy even took his interview while driving and kept turning his camera on and off. He wasn't even sure about the answers to the questions he was asking.

First, there was a standard call to check if I understood the basic requirements of the job. Then, I was invited to chat with the hiring manager. It was a video call, and the interviewer was really professional. They explained the role well and what working for the company would be like. They asked good questions and we had a nice conversation.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was totally unprofessional and a complete waste of my time. It involved four rounds of interviews spread out over several months. Years later, I still haven't received any communication about the outcome, despite them ghosting me after four interviews. One of these interviews required a three-hour drive to meet the hiring manager. They also insisted I inform my current employer about my interviews with them, which was highly unprofessional and still bothers me. Kohler stringed me along for months with emails about internal issues, only to later state they were on a hiring freeze. This was incredibly frustrating, especially after I had already disclosed my job search to my boss.

Behavioral

I interviewed a couple years ago for a product manager position that Kohler had created for a new product line. After two rounds that were mutually agreed on as positive and promising, HR then contacted me stating that their corporate team had changed their mind. They ultimately eliminated the job position. Recently, a friend interviewed for a similar position, and ultimately the same outcome occurred. Corporate priorities will understandably change, but I sense a pattern in indecisiveness that ultimately leads to inefficient use of time and resources.
