Kohler visited our college for campus recruitment. They started with a presentation by the HR heads and Marketing Director about the company, its vision, mission, values, and future plans. After that, they reviewed resumes and invited selected candidates for a group/panel interview with the Marketing Director and HR heads. This interview covered background, reasons for pursuing an MBA and choosing Kohler, long-term goals, and sales/marketing fundamentals. The second round was a one-on-one interview with the Sales Director, where I had to share my thoughts on the building industry and its future.

I applied online about two months before my phone interview with HR and the hiring manager. The hiring manager seemed keen, but HR mentioned they had many applications, so I wasn't sure about my status. The next week, I got an extensive online assessment. After that, the next month, I was invited for 1:1 interviews with the original two interviewers plus a potential coworker. I felt the day went well and was really interested in the role. However, HR sent an email about ten days later stating they were moving forward with other candidates. I saw the job posting again in the fall and tried to reconnect with the Hiring Manager, but got no response. I was disappointed not to get any feedback.

After getting referred by a recruiter for a few roles, I took a Caliper assessment. Then, I had a phone interview with the hiring manager. Next, I went to the corporate office for over 4 hours of interviews with different leaders. After they liked me from that first round, I went downtown for an afternoon of skill tests, personality tests, and meeting a psychologist. Once I "passed" the psych assessment and got good feedback, they hired an internal candidate. I was interviewed again for other roles with different leaders, and they always said they were interested but hired someone internal. This happened for 6 months. It was a lot of time to invest in interviews.
