The interview process took a while but it went well. There were several interviews, and sometimes I interviewed with multiple people at once. HR was good about scheduling with me. They could have given me more details about what the job would be like day-to-day though - I thought it would be a bit different once I started.

The application and scheduling process at Kohler was super straightforward and automated. However, the phone interview with the HR recruiter felt a little distant. They were taking notes throughout, and while I get that, it was very much a one-way street. The interviewer didn't do any casual chat or try to build rapport, just asked questions back-to-back. After I'd answer, there would be a long pause (I guess for notes) before they moved to the next question. It was a really sterile format for a phone interview.

I applied online, and then a Senior Recruiter from Kohler reached out within days. We set up a phone interview, and they said I made a great impression. Soon after, Kohler sent an email saying they wanted to interview me in person, but then I never heard back from the recruiter, despite trying to follow up multiple times.
