Behavioral Technical

The interview process at Klarna was pretty good. The HR team was really friendly and easy to talk to, and the HR manager was super professional and approachable too, making things feel relaxed. However, there are a lot of interviews, usually six to seven in total, starting with the initial screening, then manager interviews, and more follow-ups. It's structured well, but it does take a while. Overall, it was a nice experience, just more rounds than I was expecting.

Behavioral Other

Worst experience ever! A very arbitrary and arrogant HR person who kept moving and skipping Teams meetings and was slow to respond to messages. Finally, I got a meeting with the country manager. They had me do psychological tests, the results of which were absolutely OK, even better. After that, they completely ghosted me and when I asked a couple of weeks later, they told me that the recruitment process had been delayed and one person had already been selected. Avoid this company, it's not worth your time!

Behavioral Case Technical

The interview process felt pretty structured but not too intense. It kicked off with a recruiter chat where they asked about my background, what motivates me, and my knowledge of Klarna. Then came a business case round; it was a simple case, mainly about looking at product data, figuring out trends, and explaining them without making it too complicated. The last part was a team/manager interview, which was mostly behavioral questions, like how I deal with conflicts, my career aspirations, and why I'm keen on Klarna. All in all, the case wasn't too hard, and the main thing was to present well and show I'd fit in with the team.

Case Presentation Behavioral

You'll have about 4 or 5 interviews total. It starts with a phone screen, then a bar raiser interview which is really connected to Klarna's leadership principles. After that, there's a case presentation where you take home a realistic task related to the team and present your plan. Then, you'll meet with the hiring team and have more Bar Raiser interviews. The case interviews can differ, but they generally involve creating an action plan with insights, a development plan, go-to-market strategy, and engineering trade-offs, focusing on how to solve the problem.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Can you share an example of when you built something using data?
  • Describe a situation where you used data to guide the development of a product.
