First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Hilton.
HR Director
I had a really bad experience with Hilton. I applied for an HR Director role, and they mentioned I might be a good fit for two different positions. This led to me meeting with a lot of people, about 12 in total, through different kinds of meetings. Unfortunately, one of the interviewers was sick during my in-person visit, so they had to schedule another meeting after my onsite interview. In the end, they decided to hire internal candidates for both roles. As someone in HR, I know companies often look internally first. It felt like a waste of my time, several hours in fact, when they had two roles go to internal hires, which reflects poorly on their HR practices. Honestly, though, I'm kind of glad it didn't work out.

Revenue Accountant
The interview process at Hilton was well organized and professional. It started with a screening call, and then a behavioral interview where they asked about real-world scenarios and my past experiences. The interviewers were friendly, respectful, and clearly told me what they expected for the role. The questions were mostly behavioral and related to Hilton’s values, focusing on teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. The whole process felt structured and fair. I really liked how transparent and professional they were.

Youth Staff
The interview process was easy and comfortable, but still got a lot done. I understood what they needed for the job and the conditions. I really liked how open and helpful they were with communication. It was easy to ask questions, and they gave good, clear answers. The whole thing made me feel ready, informed, and excited about the job.

Front Desk Agent
Had one interview with the General Manager. It was thorough and gave me a good understanding of the company, which seems like a great and very flexible place to work. We talked about my previous work experience, my personality, and how I handle different situations. They confirmed it's a full-time position.
- How would you deal with a guest who is unhappy with their room?
