Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process for a Manager role at Hilton is organized and professional, focusing on leadership and if you fit the company's values. You start with an online application, then an initial HR screening to check your background, availability, and interest. If that goes well, you have a first interview with a department head or hotel manager where they ask situational and behavioral questions about your operational knowledge and team management skills. The last interview is usually with the general manager or area director and includes more strategic questions about financial performance, staff development, and guest service. Sometimes, you might have to do assessments or presentations to show your problem-solving and leadership skills. If they want to hire you, Hilton checks your references before making a job offer. The whole process is to make sure candidates have the right experience and also fit Hilton’s culture of hospitality and excellence. It was a good, easy, and smooth process, not complicated at all, as long as you're confident and can answer questions well.

The interview setting felt a bit too casual, almost like a bar, which seemed a bit unprofessional. The interviewer was ready, though, with some direct and clear questions. Waiting for the outcome took a bit of time, but they did eventually share the result, which was good.
